I'm quite fond of Ms.Spektor. She's managed to make the obligatory video in Joshua Tree viewable with a nifty custom typewriter. Well played!

Yep I'm a huge fan of Ms. Spektor also. All the good bits of Tori Amos with much less of her irksome deliberate oddity and arrogance and better beats. Retrofitting an Eet key onto a typewriter isn't a bad idea actually.

Hey, a complete guess, but is it a Remington Monarch or similar that she's using?

I think it's a Smith-Corona.

The tab controls on the right give it away. You know, if it had "Changeable Type" she didn't really need to make all those modifications...
